logo cropSat 4th June at 8am (4pm GMT) 62 solo riders and several pairs will start the race from Coast to Coast across North America. 4400 miles of rider tracking fun for dot watchers, and curious racers thinking it could be their next challenge. TransAm Race site

This year it has a new twist with a following media car completely dedicated to the race. This should lead to daily blog updates and photo reports, so if you’re a fan go buy them a meal, or some fuel This could be an idea future races might consider.

For the race up front can Lee Fancourt stay healthy and become the second UK winner of this event. Lael Wilcox is the main Lady in the field, will she trouble the sub 21 Day record of Juliana Buhring. Details of her attempt, and cool custom Revelate gear HERE

For TCR2016 competitors its also a perfect chance to show your family dot watchers how it all works, and that tracking can be quirky at times, and not to worry about inactivity. Here is a good beginners guide to using Trackleaders, based on the TransAm.
